KENT RADIO AEROMODELERS, INC.
MEETING MINUTES FROM JULY 1, 2025
The meeting was called to order by President Jeff Streit at 7:00pm
Nine members were present, with 3 guests.
No corrections were offered for last month’s minutes. Jeff Streit motioned to approve the minutes as read. Chuck Putney seconded and the vote carried.
No financial report was presented.
A new member is added to the club – Shane Johnston. He and his father and mother were at the meeting.
OLD BUSINESS;
Safety Report: Mike Murphy’s safety messages were: bring water to the field to avoid dehydration and use a stick to point where you are entering the TALL corn to find your downed airplane.
VP report – Gary Stephens reported he will be moving to Midland very soon. He will be giving all his information and papers and tickets to Jim Grant to take over. Swap Shop raffle tickets are available from Jim. Each member is responsible to peddle 10 tickets (buy them yourself or sell them to friend and family – $1 each or six for $5. Save the club mailing expenses by picking up you tickets from Jim at the field or club meetings. Gary sent our swap information to approximately 40 clubs.
Maintenance Officer – Bob Irish reported all is well relative to field maintenance.
Web Site – Chris Mroch – all is current and updated – no issues
Chuck Putney noted there has been no requests for training to date.
Jeff Streit reiterated that the Vet’s picnic was cancelled due to weather. He suggested that we host them at our Poker Fun Fly. He will follow up.
Jeff volunteered to make new “Keep away from the cows” signs on his computer. Jim Herron volunteered to assist.

Motion to Adjourn was made by Dave Hills and seconded by Chuck Putney. Carried at 8:00 PM
