                                                MEETING MINUTES OF JAN. 9, 2024

Call to order at 7:00 pm by President Jeff Streit

Members present: 9              Guests present:  0

Review of the December 2023 minutes by Jim Herron

                No changes. Motion seconded by Bob Irish. Motion carried.

Financial Report presented by Dan McLaren.

                No questions.  Motion to accept by Jim Herron with second by Jim Grant.

                Motion carried.

Old Business:

                Jeff thanked Dan McLaren for taking care of the fruit basket for our landlord.

                Reminder that our club dues of $75 are due by the March meeting.

                It was decided to leave our signs up reminding pilots not to fly over the barns.

                Calves will not be here this summer, but we still want to keep the planes away from

 the barns.

                Gary Stevens is going to check our exact wording in the rules about using the

flight station blocks.

Mike Murphy: Safety Director Report   — Be careful in the shop!!!

Jim Herron Maintenance Director Report –  equipment batteries have been moved indoors

                                For the cold weather.

Chris Mroch: Website Status   – everything up to date. As we finalize Chris needs dates and times

                                For events as we decide what and when they are.

Show and Tell:

Jim brought in a UMX HORIZON CONSENDO. Praised it highly for a power glider.

Mike Murphy brought in a JR Elete transmitter which has touch screen, metal gimbles,

16 channels, the whole nine yards…

Jeff Streit showed off some backing plates and nose cones he produced with a 3D printer. Nice!
