New Members: Thomas DeVries (Tom previously started to learn to fly R/C back in 1993. He moved 24 times in 25 years…  He is now retired and plans to stick with it!)

 Old Business

Mike Murphy – Safety Message  – always balance charge your battery backs to avoid potential fires and always use a “battery safe” – they are well worth the value vs. a house or garage fire!

Jim Herron – Swap Shop 2022 update – raffle plane to be selected this month. If you have a suggestion, give Jim a shout.

Dave Hills – status of the field – white! Jim Herron noted that the Holland club just voted to set aside money each year to have funds available when they need to buy a new lawn mower. Good planning…

Social Director – closed for the season

 New Business –

Lee Frederickson – Spektrum Transmitter training session – March or April?

Jim Herron reported on a new radio -Radio Master – that he got for about $300 that is compatible with all receivers and is “open source” programming. Great for techies. He also noted that he has picked up some little drones that use $8 batteries and has goggles so he can fly indoors around the house to keep his skills up during the winter.

Tony Milanowski – snow flying report out – FUN! He has been out a couple of                              times and enjoyed the flights until he got cold…

Chuck Putney – club should consider buying a AED (defibrillator) and running a CPR class for the club members.

Coming Events – Gary Stephens
