 Old Business

Mike Murphy – Safety Message – fall has arrived and it is time to move batteries to storage charge for the winter. To accomplish this task Mike showed a “RCX 3 in 1 Battery Balancer, Discharger & Voltage Indicator” that he purchased from “MYRCMART” on the internet for $14.99 with free shipping. The unit supports 2 to 6 cell balancing and 2 to 6 cell balancing and discharge.  Mike highly recommends!

Jim Herron – Swap Shop 2021 update. It is done for another year! Thanks to all t  that helped with set up and attended. Hall is reserved for 2022 and based on how we made out we will do it again. The raffle made $397 thanks to the donation of the plane, tickets, and flyers.  Swap shop in total made $1,755, again thanks for the donation of door prize gift certificates. Again, thanks to all who attended and/or helped out.

Lee Frederickson pointed out that there was little control this year at the back door and he thought a lot of visitors did not pay the entrance $5 fee. Something to remember and improve for next year.

Dave Hills – status of the field

-mowed for the last time 10/27, generator put away for the winter, batteries pulled and stored for winter, flag lowered and disposal planned, flag light removed and stored for the winter, flagpole lanyard needs replacement in the spring, stable added to all gas.

Jeff Streit has donated a trimmer replacement to the club. Thank you Jeff!

Social Director –

Web Master – Chris Mroch – requested funds to pay for our web site hosting fee of three years for $343.44 and renewal of our domain fee of $14 per year. Dan McLaren seconded the motion and the motion carried.

New Business

Dan McLaren – made a motion to maintain our adult membership dues at $75 per year. The motion was seconded by Jim Grant and carried.

Dan McLaren – noted the Porta Potty goes away for the winter sometime after Nov. 1st.

Gary Stephens – nominations for Club Officers for 2022

  • Nominations are open through the December meeting. Nominations for all positions will be accepted through the December meeting. Please consider running for a position for next year. The positions are: President, first vice president (runs swap shop), 2nd vice president (learns the swap meet workings so he can become the 1st vice president in 2023), secretary/treasurer, Safety Director, Social Director, Maintenance Director, and Web Master (although I think Chris wants to hold on this position next year…). If you do not think you can make the December meeting, let me know and I will place your name in nomination.  Any questions, give me a call at 450-9170.

Lee Frederickson noted we have lost a number of hobbyists in the past year and a number of club members, both our club and other clubs, are trying to marshal all the collections and have a sale to help the spouses pass on the planes and equipment to local flyers. Watch for more details to follow.

Gary Stephens – Coming Events

Cost was to for $11 on Amazon.
