Minutes of the May 7, 2013 Meeting

Called to order at 7:00 pm by President Nikolei Zinsli

Review of the Minutes of the March meeting (April lacked quorum) resulted in no additions, deletions, or changes.
        Motion to approve by: Danny Osborn and seconded by Ed Bradley

Financial Report presented by Dan McLaren.  No questions or comments.

OLD BUSINESS:
Nik – Riders Hobby Shop presentation – hopefully will be at the June meeting

Mark Schmaltz – commented on winter build nights – those involved have come a long way and are now very confident and competent in building and covering a balsa model.  Build night is on Wednesdays until the plane is done (Tuesday is Training night at the field).

Meeting Minutes – May 7th 2013


On 2/5/2013, Lee Frederickson presenting AMA Merit AwardLee Frederickson, as AMA District 7 AAVP, presented a plaque to the club honoring us "In recognition of the club member's efforts in teaching model aircraft flying and building skills to students of the West Michigan Aviation Academy."

Thanks to all of the club members that volunteer their time each week to help the kids at WMAA! This is proof that your efforts have not gone un-noticed.
