KRAM  Presidents Letter  - Bill Leppek

 At our monthly meetings, opinions and points of view flow freely, but in some cases there is a need to express a new ideas before the next meeting. Our website will soon include a new feature called “Member Forum”. It will be a tab located on the left side of KRAM website home page where any member can express opinion or present an idea. The only stipulation for posting a comment is that:

 

           The person is a current member of the club.

           There is no profane or defamatory language.

           The document be submitted in a “Word” format

 

The control point will be in the submission process. The document to be posted should be submitted to Dave Kingma, via email. Dave will verify membership and check for the absence of improper language and then post the comment on the website. ( Dave does such a great job of keeping our website currents, I’m sure most comments will be posted very quickly) Comments will be left posted for 30 days or for as long as the topic is current and then removed.

 

Submission of an idea or comment should not be considered a substitute for meeting attendance. The club by-laws are very clear on the process for making change to the way the club operates. Motions are made, discussed and voted upon. The forum is simply a vehicle to allow members additional way to communicate with other members.

 

This feature, along with meeting attendance should provide every club member with an opportunity to express their ideas.
