KRAM announces 1st annual 'Sunset Salute' giant scale fly-in
Printer-friendly versionKRAM is announcing our first annual giant scale fly-in, dubbed 'Sunset Salute'! Come and join us for a spectacular evening of big bird flying on one of the premier flying sites in Western Michigan. The event will take place on Wednesday July 14th, 2010 starting around 4pm. All mono planes with a 80" wingspan or greater, and biplanes 60" or greater are welcome to join the flightline. An entry fee of $5 will pay for a fantastic evening of flying and food. Registration is requested so we can plan for food. If you would like to attend, complete and mail the registration form on the PDF at the end of this page, or email your name, AMA # and # of planes you'll be bringing to lmlubbs@yahoo.com.

We should have a back up day.
We should have a back up day. In case the weather does not work out. We are having people pay and if its rained out we will need to refund or reschedule. we should put back up day on flyer!!

we need a backup day in case it the weather does not work with the event. aka rainwe need to make a back up plan day. We are having people pay to come. So if the event is rained out people will probably want there money back. So the alternative day put on the flyer the alternative day. What about the following Wednesday. Putting it on the flyer will save Planning ahead will save us lots of time if we run into a issue later

A rain date was brought up at the March meeting, but Lee hadn't decided on that as of then. And to note, we don't really need to worry about refunds since we won't be collecting money until that day.

Nik is right.... No prepayment necesary. Registration request is just to give us some idea how many people are planning on attending. No rain date needed.
